I’m Nicolò Mantini — though most people call me Nico.

At heart, I’m an explorer. My curiosity has always moved in two directions at once: toward the world around me and toward the mystery of what it means to be human.

For years I followed a conventional path in engineering and business, living and working across Europe. Yet beneath the achievements and plans, a deeper question remained alive: Who am I, really?

Eventually, that question became impossible to ignore.

I left behind the life I had built and began a journey that took me through Latin America and Asia, living among different cultures, learning from indigenous traditions, meditation communities, and ordinary people whose wisdom emerged not from theories but from direct experience.

What began as travel gradually became an inquiry into consciousness, identity, relationships, and the nature of reality itself.

After a decade of exploration, today I share what I learnt through writing, workshops, and one-to-one counseling.

My work is not about offering answers. It is about creating spaces where people can slow down, listen more deeply, and reconnect with their own direct experience. Whether through conversation, self-inquiry, mindful communication, or contemplative practice, I support people in exploring the patterns, beliefs, emotions, and assumptions that shape their lives.

Many of the themes that inspire my work also appear in my writing: non-duality, uncertainty, authenticity, human connection, and the subtle ways we create meaning. Again and again, my reflections return to a simple yet inexhaustible question: What remains when we stop trying to become someone and simply meet ourselves as we are?

I call this space a River of Reflections.

A river is never fixed. It flows, changes, disappears, and reappears. In the same way, our lives unfold as a continuous movement of experiences, relationships, questions, and discoveries. Writing allows me to trace some of those currents and share what I find along the way.

Whether you arrive here through an article, a conversation, a workshop, or a moment of personal searching, you are welcome.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
